My Work
CBS Around The World
The largest scale project i've taken on to date, this CBS behemoth was a fantastic project utilizing RobotLegs and Google Maps API to create an application that followed one man as he traveled around the world. Click here to read more about it.
Neutrogena Wave
Just so happened that the WAVE build was going on during the day all the while I was working on CBSATW (above) at night. A hell of a couple months.
Neutrogena WAVE was my first project completed using the Gaia Framework for Flash. I had actually heard mixed reviews of it prior to attempting to use it, but I guess my overall impression is pretty positive. I ended up giving it a shot solely because I was told I needed a fully functional website with nav in about 10 days from the time I saw the comps to when it was going off to legal review. This is where Gaia excelled. The problem came after I had my site set up when I was trying to further customize the framework for my needs, and I ended up dealing with a bunch of backtracking that added on days towards the end of the project. All said and done though, for the relatively short build time of about 4-6 weeks depending on who you asked upstairs, I'm happy with the result. Big ups to Brian Maci for helping me a couple late nights to get the animation as playfully sweet-16 as we could before shipping it out.
The Hendricks Curiositorium
When it was all said and done, yes I was proud. But the process for this site to finally make it to the web? Borderline Shakespearean tragedy. But that's not what is important. Many many thanks to my good friend Chaz Rini for an excellent and award winning design which helped me get my first nod by theFWA. And obviously a ton of credit due to my excellent team of animators since im sure it wasn't my framework that theFWA noticed
Final word - definitely the best gin I've ever had.
Tunecore Music Widget
I had a lot of fun on this project. Tunecore is leading the way in online record labels, allowing artists to upload their own music, keep all the rights and royalties, and sell it through companies like iTunes and Amazon. I was in charge of all development of the widget that users can use to distribute their music online.
Users were allowed to choose any of the songs that were in their library, add album artwork, basic band info, and a signup list for Version 1.
In V2, which production started on immediately after finishing V1, we furthered the concept from a music player to a full on EPK (electronic press kit), adding functionality for YouTube videos, a Flickr photo gallery, their Twitter updates, and more.
Other fun sites from the past 24 months (give or take an hour):
ThreeOlives.com and the O-Face Contest
The homepage was my first solo project for Special Ops Media (RIP) and the contest was alot of late nights but a pretty big project and actually alot of fun. Scroll two left in the gallery for a solid underwater scene from yours truly.
1800Tequila.com
Another Proximo Spirits site done shortly after my mentor decided to quit and leave me hangin. Just joshin' ya, BroBot (joke site hes too busy kicking ass obviously).
GourmetKickzCreator.com
First project I ever did in ActionScript 3 which just happened to be my first project in Papervision 3D as well. One hell of a learning experience and to this day my favorite project/team to work on/with. Major props to Norik, Marconi, and mr broe. (you too jc)
